IO-GEL
IO-GEL is a sterile, isotonic, non pyrogenic viscoelastic solution of high purified, non inflammatory Hydroxyl Propyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) solution with a high molecular weight use during the surgery of the anterior segment of the eye. For a 2% w/v HPMC solution each ml. of solution provides 20mg of HPMC dissolved in balanced salt solution.

IO-GEL Ophthalmic Viscosurgical Device (IO-GEL) is a sterile, isotonic, non pyrogenic viscoelastic solution of high purified, non inflammatory Hypromellose solution with a high molecular weight greater than 80,000 daltons for intra ocular use during the surgery of the anterior segment of the eye. For a 2% w/v Hypromellose solution each ml. of solution provides 20mg of Hypromellose dissolved in balanced salt solution. The viscosity of this solution is 4000 to 5500 cps.
