It is haemostatic, non-toxic, and non-allergic to tissues, ensuring both safety and effectiveness. The solution is also bacteriostatic, helping to reduce the risk of infection, and it significantly reduces post-operative inflammation. An added benefit is that Optika does not require refrigeration, making it convenient for storage and immediate use in various clinical settings.
